Expressions Arts & Entertainment Centre is proud to present our 2015 Theatre season.

Theatre @ Expressions features a programme of live, engaging and exciting theatre that will make you laugh, cry and think. Ranging from hilarious side-splitting comedies about pioneering hucksters to an intense dance-drama work, crazy flying chandeliers to haunting shadow puppet magic, this is theatre at its best.

Two acclaimed New Zealand stage personalities, ballet dancer Sir Jon Trimmer and actor Helen Moulder present their award-winning dance-drama work full of humour, delight and drama.

A story of mystery, magic and mayhem, and getting lost in a good...or bad book.

Mr & Mrs Alexander

Saturday 31 October | 8pm

A magical comedy set in late nineteenth century New Zealand and based on the rise in fame, and eventual disappearance of Mr and Mrs Alexander, hucksters extraordinaire.

Paper Shaper

Thursday 16 April | 10am & 11.30am

Magical theatre especially for children. A wonderful world made out of paper featuring masks and puppets and the art of storytelling.

Shadow puppetry especially for children. Based on the popular children's book, Guji Guji is a beautiful story about learning and loving through difference and diversity.
