Expressions Whirinaki's new Steinway grand piano was delivered in September 2008. Over the years, Classical Expressions has featured some of the world's leading pianists - Peter Donohoe, Pascal Roge, Freddy Kempf, Barry Douglas and our own Diedre Irons and Michael Houstoun- and an instrument of the finest quality had become essential. Today Expressions Whirinaki can boast of having one of the most exceptional pianos in the country. To celebrate its first eight years in Upper Hutt, Expression's Steinway is the focal point of the 2016 Classical Expressions series. Every programme features the grand piano together with a work by one of the instrument's finest composers, Johannes Brahms. Together they bring you a celebration of the Steinway.
